Guys and girls - please get the advertisements sorted out. They keep showing me adverts for Wonga.com. I have many, many reasons not to want to see adverts from companies who have interest rates that would even make loan sharks think twice. Please, for the sake of my sanity, get it to stop.

I am seeing ads for World Globes (I did go to their site to look for a globe for my father). And furniture. And some various other things.

All I can think is that it's using Google at the backend and picking up on my association with NUFC (sponsored by Wonga).

Wonga adds are everywhere at the moment.
I downloaded a new free Twitter client for my Android last week, fired it up and first thing to pop up was a Wonga ad. Uninstalled and let the publishers know why.
I doubt it is anything to do with the Toon, just a UK wide assault.

I have submitted a new Article of type Reference
http://www.codeproject.com/Reference/632333/HIPAA-Securing-an-ASP-NET-Website[^]
It is reviewed/edited and finally published, i can see that on the homepage of CodeProject (may be for a while), but when i visit my profile page i don't see it liked to my profile under contributions. How would someone know what Reference Articles i have created.

You can select the number of posts to show on each page in a forum.
Now, I'd really like an option to deny the cutting of a thread in half.
Meaning:
If the page should show 50 posts and the thread starting on after post 47 has 6 posts, then I'd like the page to either show 54 posts or only the 47.
That's usability top notch!
It is a paradox that paradoxes would actually exist in reality.
That means of course that they don't exist.
However, they do!

And what happens when you get an exceptionally long thread? I'm sure there have been threads in the Lounge which contain many hundreds of posts; if you try to load the entire thread in one go, you could end up crashing the browser.

Cut at MAX_LENGTH ... (in 99.999% of the cases a thread will not top 50 ((Nagy's Xo)+1) messages)
* So practically MAX_LENGTH of say, 100((Nagy's Xo)+Yo) will cover anything but conversations my wife has with her sister.
It is a paradox that paradoxes would actually exist in reality.
That means of course that they don't exist.
However, they do!

Threads regularly break a page. I can't be elephanted to trawl back, but at least weekly a thread breaks 50 posts. 99.999% that is not.

No wonder it doesn't work properly then.
I'm sure the readership of this site who have worked extensively in Progress as a language is probably me and one other, but rest assured we're both pissing ourselves with laughter right now.

The pragmatic solution - not perfect but maybe easier and helps also:
Add to the new "go parent" also something like a "go next".

A slight twist to 'go-to-top' suggestion - like "make top", bringing the start of that thread (or whatever message one selects) to the top of their message list. This solves will work with the lesser and greater length threads - when it's gotta break, it's gotta break, but this way a long thread starting near the bottom of a page can be use-prettified.
Should they back up enough, it starts with the latest and their normal count.

You mean 53 I think. If first thread has 47 and next thread has 6 posts, its clearly 53. If you are not counting the parent post as post(replies only), then it should be total 55 messages(posts). But not 54 in any way.

I was downloading some source code (about 3 mb) on relatively poor and heavily data restricted internet connection, and just about the time the download was going to finish, the connection got disconnected. On trying to resume it, my DM found that resuming not supported. but I recall, previously resuming was working fine. Proxy issues or CP download server got moved into an old HTTP 1.0? Re-downloading is not annoying but, on a slow data-capped connection (which I'm forced to use sometimes), it is a nightmare.

Is this a bug or can you really change the type from Question to Article?

[EDIT]
This is closed now and looks like any other Question when you click the link, but it was in the Moderation Queue as an article when I posted it.
