Hi Sir,
I am a great fan of your articles . Congrats for being an MVP always .
So much complexity in software comes from trying to make one thing do two things.

Frankly nothing as such. I have read all your books on .NET and SQl Server good. All your articles are nice.
You know what pinches me .... you are still not a codeproject MVP and thats suprising. I see people on the list and i doubt how credible code project MVP listing is.

Agreed! Probably Shiv needs a longer signature like some do.

Hi Shivprasad,
I appriciate your efforts but...
I have a suggestion for you that your articles should be reviewed by someone for grammatical errors before posting on any website. It gives bad impression about you. Please take it seriously.
Regards,
Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,
Yes, i agree to what you say. Let's criticize shiv and not to his country. His country had nothing to do with his english. I will try to implement this seriously.

I'm one of many hidden people whom you have unknownly helped through your books and tutorials. I read your first book ~9 years back and have been purchasing all interview versions (.net/sql/architecture/project management etc.) since then. Your book always tell me what i'm missing in terms of technology and where I need to upgrade. I like simple language of the book and aspects it covers. It must have taken a lot of committment and giving attitude when you must have started this without any return (it is missing in almost all the developers). Keep it up and I appreciate your contribution to software development fraternity.

Hello ShivPrasad,
I am new to .NET field just graduated in US.
I used to read all your articles and your interview questions book for .NET
I haven't got a job yet but i hope i will get soon.
Thanks for your all articles. They are helping me a lot.

Prob because all the examples on the one page I read were completely wrong. I would suggest reading the Go4 and not using Shiv's design patterns pages.
Shiv - apologies if this feels like its a personal rant, but you shouldn't post stuff up that could cause others to fail in interviews etc. You need to have someone check your examples first before posting.

@handled1: What's wrong in the design patterns examples. They are so easy to understand. It up to you how to implement it in your project.
And I feel so good from going through all his tutorials and design patterns and because of that right now I'm working in a very good MNC Company.
If you think there is something wrong, then why don't you mail him back, so that he can make the necessary changes and everyone get benefit from it.
Keep it up.. Shiv. God bless you
